Snow in September

Well, last night Logan was expecting a rain storm, which turned into a cold snap and now we have snow. I'm not overly excited about the snow since it is only September! Yesterday, it was in the 70's and today I don't think it rose above 40 degrees. Needless to say it is very cold and everyone is now wearing coats... except the select few crazies who are still in shorts and t-shirts. Unfortunately my only way of transportation at the moment is a bike and scooter. I feel like my nose is going to fall off when I ride either of my rides. Maybe I should get one of those complete face masks.. That could be an option so that I don't lose total feeling on my face. Anyway, besides the cold everything else is going well. I'll post pictures as soon as I can either buy a cord for my camera, or plud in my sd chip in some computer. Hopefully soon. Hope everyone is doing well!

College...

So, college life is pretty grand. I've been to an 80's dance, foam dance, became a true Aggie, a bon fire, meet new friends everyday, and am learning how to cook and survive without Mom, attepmted to go cliff jumping, gotten to know Logan VERY well due to my transportation (my bike), had a Bourne movie marathon, and lots more stuff. So far things are going well, although, I really miss the south and everyone there. I'm greatful to be here, and am slowly adjusting to the dry air, and other weird things that only happen in Utah. My classes are going well. I like most all of them. Today, I had an exam in Geology and am pretty sure I flunked it. Probably because I only studied for about 3 hours prior to the day of it. My math class is going good. I really like math and I understand it really well too. English is also good. I really have enjoyed writing and learning different techniques on how to write.

Tonight, I'm going to institute dance, and then later go to a party. It should be lots of fun!!! I'll keep you guys posted on what happens in the near future...

Triathlon

This is the best smile I could muster up afterwards. : )
Me just lookin good : )
Just getting my bike outta the car. You can't really see this, but I rode a mountain bike. BIG mistake! Not only are they a whole lot heavier than road bikes, but they're just harder to pedal. Oh and I also found out that you need water during the biking. Wow that was a rude awakening.
This is the T-shirt that I wasn't too pleased with. Pretty plain and ugly. Next time i'll have to make sure it's a cool looking shirt before I sign up for the race.
My encouragement for the 11.6 mile bike ride.

Well... I did it! : ) Today I was brave enough to try a triathlon. It was the most fun race I've ever done! Challenging? yes. Could I have done better? sure. But it was AWESOME!!! Unfortunately we forgot the camera for the event! So, here are the pictures from after.

UFO?

This past Sunday, I was taking pictures for my portfolio I'm putting together and I captured some great pictures. As I was looking through the pictures I saw something that was in the sky in my photo. I quickly went back outside and looked up and there was nothing there. Not a cloud, a plane, a bird, nothing in the sky! Makes me wonder what is in the picture. I personally believe that we have no concept of what's really out there. We are just a speck of life in an even bigger world. Anyway, I thought it was pretty interesting. I posted some other pictures that I took at the same time so that you could see a better view of what I really was taking pictures of.

Spring break

Yoga instructors with their trainee.
Liam has some pretty funny facial expressions. : )
We thought it's be funny to see what Liam would look like with hair. Apparently he doesn't
really like it that much. : )

Texas!

A picture of down town Dallas.
I actually found a picture I was in that didn't look too bad.

Our trip to Texas was really fun! We left the week of Valentines Day and then stayed for five days I think it was... Anyway, we were able to visit the 6th floor Museum where they think that Harvey Lee Oswald assassinated John F. Kennedy. I have my assumptions on that, but it was still really interesting to go and visit that. I posted a picture of the position where their car was and also the museum in the back ground. Leila and Naudia sure have grown up! They are such cuties!

The Monday before we left I had my wisdom teeth pulled, and unfortunately while we were there, a dry socket came out of no where and caused my whole mouth to be in pain the whole time! What a pain in the rear that was! That explains me not being in any pictures because of the non photogenic mood I was in. : ) Thank goodness that's over with!

All in all though we had a splendid time with Mitchell, Jesmyn, Leila, and Naudia! Thanks guys for letting us spend time with you!!!
