Half Marathon!!

We are so Proud of our Mom completing the Charlotte Thunder road Half Marathon! I was going to run the race, but unfortunately I had to take the ACT instead... I'm glad that my Mom was willing enough to take my running spot in the race! Congratulations Mom!!! Even though she has run multiple full marathons, it still is a great accomplishment to finish a half as well. Good job to all the Sisters in our ward who ran it because I gave them the idea! You guys did GREAT!

Tis the season! (well not exactly here)

I love to snowboard!!! I have been craving the snow, the ski slopes, and the cold weather! Too bad there isn't hardly any cold weather here, the snow is slushy when we actually have some, and the ski slopes have man made snow. I think I'd like to take a ski trip out to Utah the season! As for the picture above, it is either Peter or Brady. They are probably a little better than me, but I sure have been practicing whenever I get a chance to go. Well, just wanted to tell everyone that I wanted to go snowboarding, and I thought that this picture was pretty sweet!

Just relaxing

I thought this was pretty comical. The other day we were just finishing up with school, and I walked into the family room to find Madyson in the laundry basket watching T.V. She took no notice of me walking into the room and continued to watch the movie, so I decided to take advantage of the opportunity and snap a quick picture. It wasn't until after the picture was taken and the shudder sounded that she turned around to look. She is too funny!

We all had a great time carving pumpkins together this Halloween, well with the exception that Mom was not with us due to jury duty. While we were carving pumpkins Mady said, " I think this is the first time Dad has been with us to carve pumpkins!" Savannah agreed with her, it was true that he hadn't been with them to carve pumpkins in previous years. So was really fun to be able to have had our Dad there with us! We were all bummed though that our Mom wasn't there. Next year however, we'll look forward to them both being here! : )

Our trip to Boston

Well, this past week has been a blast! Last Wednesday my Mom and us girls were able to go visit Derrick and Amanda in Spring Field, Ma. It was really fun to be able to see Liam for the first time, and also to get to know Zoe better! We're really glad that Derrick and Amanda let us spend time with them and their family! They were really fun to hang out with! Here are some pictures of our trip!
